Support for optional race segments has been added. A segment can now be marked as optional, meaning that completing it is not required for the correct evaluation of the subsequent segment. If a racer skips an optional segment, the system automatically detects this and takes it into account when processing chip records and calculating results. This feature allows, for example, split times to be measured at locations that not all racers are required to pass through, without affecting the evaluation of subsequent race segments.
Fixed the evaluation of the so-called last entry, which also applies to chip starts. Previously, the time of a segment with the „Last entry” setting was updated only if the time elapsed since the previous entry was shorter than the minimum duration of the following segment. This behavior was correct when both the current and following segments used the same antennas. However, if the following segment used different antennas, this could lead to incorrect behavior – once the minimum duration of the following segment had been exceeded, the time of the current segment was no longer updated, while the following segment was not recorded either. The system now also takes into account the antennas assigned to individual segments during evaluation.
